Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to appointments and services provided by Vicky Chen Studio | RV Makeup, including makeup services, semi-permanent makeup, cosmetic tattoo, eyelash extensions and nails. By booking an appointment, you agree to the terms below.

Appointments & Payment

Booking, deposits and payment timing

Appointments

  • Appointments are by booking only.
  • A deposit may be required to secure your appointment.
  • The remaining balance is due on the day of your appointment.

Payment

  • Payment can be made by accepted payment methods available at the studio.
  • Prices may change without notice.
  • Final pricing can vary where additional time, correction work or added complexity is involved.

Late Arrivals & Changes

Please allow enough time for travel and changes to your booking

Late arrival policy

Please allow enough travel time when attending the Chatswood studio. If you are more than 30 minutes late, your appointment may be treated as a no-show and your deposit may be forfeited.

Where an appointment needs to be rebooked due to late arrival, a new deposit may be required.

Cancellation and rescheduling

At least 48 hours notice is required if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

If less than 48 hours notice is given, a new deposit may be required to secure another appointment time.

Cosmetic Tattoo Consultations

Consultation may be recommended or required before treatment

Consultation is an important part of semi-permanent makeup and cosmetic tattoo services. It allows time to discuss suitability, shape, colour, treatment expectations and any previous work that may affect the result.

If a cosmetic tattoo or semi-permanent makeup treatment cannot proceed because it is unsuitable or unsafe at the time of appointment, the studio may charge a consultation fee where applicable.

The studio reserves the right to refuse service where treatment is considered unsuitable, unsafe or not in the client’s best interest.

Touch-Ups & Healing

Healing varies from client to client

  • Where a complimentary touch-up is included for an initial cosmetic tattoo treatment, it must be booked within 6–12 weeks.
  • If the included touch-up is booked outside that period, an additional charge may apply.
  • Healing and final results vary by client, so no guarantee can be given for the final healed cosmetic tattoo result.
  • Additional touch-up sessions may be recommended and may incur additional cost.

Client Responsibilities

Pre-appointment preparation and aftercare matter

Before your appointment

Clients must follow any pre-appointment instructions provided by the studio. This helps treatments proceed more smoothly and supports better results.

Please inform the studio before your appointment if there are relevant changes that may affect treatment suitability.

Aftercare

Clients must follow aftercare guidance provided by the studio. Good aftercare supports healing, retention and the final appearance of the treatment.

Results may be affected where aftercare instructions are not followed or where individual healing factors affect the outcome.

Consent, Photos & Website Use

Use of images, treatment consent and website content

Consent to treatment

By proceeding with treatment, you confirm that you understand the service being provided is cosmetic in nature and that you have had the opportunity to ask questions before treatment begins.

Before and after photos

The studio may take before and after photographs for treatment records. With client consent, selected images may also be used for portfolio, website or social media purposes.

Website images and content

All images, written content and other materials published on this website remain the property of Vicky Chen Studio | RV Makeup unless otherwise stated. They may not be copied, reused or commercially used without permission.
